Kovair Integration Platform is a robust integration and migration platform designed to streamline data synchronization across various tools and applications. Understand how Single Sign On (SSO) occurs between the SurgeONE.ai and Integration Platform applications.
SSO is an authentication process that allows a user to access multiple applications with one set of login credentials. Essentially, the first app authenticates the user, and the second app trusts that authentication without requiring the user to re-enter their credentials.
1. Using the Integration Platform Menu
- Click on the left panel menu item labeled as Integration Platform. Clicking this menu link will directly navigate the logged in user to the connected instance of Integration Platform platform
- Get redirected to the Integration Platform application welcome screen view after successful validation of the user email address. A guided tour appears to help the user get acquainted with the Integration Platform application after their first login and to ensure the user understands the key features and functionalities right from the start.
- Click on the Next button to navigate through the guided tour of Integration Platform.
- Click on the End tour button once you are done with the guided tour to close the modal window.

NOTE:
The modal window of this guided tour does not get prompted from the next login onwards if you click on the checkbox labeled as Don't show this again.

Additional Information:
SSO implemented between two applications, say SurgeONE.ai and Integration Platform, means the users can log into one application, say SurgeONE.ai, and they won't need to log in again when accessing the second application, i.e., Integration Platform.
The utility of setting up the SSO between SurgeONE.ai and Integration Platform is that it simplifies the user experience by reducing the number of times a person has to log in, and it enhances the security by centralizing the management of the authentication process.
SSO facilitates better customer retention. SSO enables easier logins across different products, reducing friction and increasing the likelihood that customers will continue using your applications by offering customer-facing applications like SurgeONE.ai and Integration Platform.
1.2. Error in Switching to Integration Platform
Integration Platform SSO from SurgeONE.ai encounters unsuccessful redirection when the following occurs:
- The same user does not exist in Integration Platform with matching email address
- The Integration Platform appsettings.json under SurgeONE.ai Web (IIS) is not correctly configured
The following error prompt modal window is displayed in SurgeONE.ai after you click on the left panel Integration Platform menu option when the above stated instance occurs.
